Same thing, new name. Google renamed "Google My Business" to "Google Business Profile" back in 2022 - but plenty of us still call it GMB out of habit. Whatever you call it, it's your free listing that shows up in Google Maps and local search.

It depends what you need. I offer it as part of a monthly local SEO service, and I can also do a one-off optimisation to get your profile properly set up. Either way, I can give you a clear, upfront quote.

This is one of the faster-moving parts of local SEO and SEO services in general. You'll often see improvements in local visibility within a few weeks, with stronger results building over 3–6 months. That's why I usually suggest starting with a 3–6 month period to build momentum, however, I won't tie you into any long term contracts.

I can do both. Some clients want their profile set up properly then take it from there. Others prefer me to manage it month to month with regular posts, review management and updates. Ranking a profile is all about consistent, ongoing actions, so the monthly option tends to get the best results.
